The brief was to create innovation that was not possible 4 years ago.
We found out that oral bacterial overgrowth can be both a cause and a symptom of health problems in different parts of the body.
We use this insight to create seamless personal health monitoring. Kolibree's Ara A.. toothbrush allows users to track and optimize their brushing style. By equipping them with nanosensors, we can scan saliva for bacterial colonies.
This data is then uploaded into the cloud for comparison against a broad dataset, so that any irregularities can be spotted immediately.
